A grief therapist begins telling her clients exactly what she thinks
Regardless of her education and ethics, she finds herself making huge changes in people’s lives—including her own. “Shrinking” features sharing key moments that defined their characters in season 1 and revealing who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to get Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and was made to listen to people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they should have taken it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would know that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which had other big-name actors interested. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he cheers up nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
I really enjoyed The Shrink
It’s about a grieving therapist (Jason Segal) who has had enough and starts telling his patients exactly what he thinks of them. Below is a really funny sequence that will have you laughing out loud. The best part of the show is the interaction between Segal’s character and Harrison Ford’s character.
I can’t wait to see more!
For some reason, this show has received nothing but great reviews. This show has undoubtedly been nominated for all sorts of awards, and deservedly so. It must be doing well because it was initially renewed for a second season.
