Kevin Costner is a patriarch who heads a dynastic ranch that is comparable in size to some countries. His way of life is encroached upon by resort developers, tribal law, and the government of the state of Montana. Reminiscent of Rock Hudson in The Giant, he tries to stick to old ways.

I’m raising my score to a “9”
