Remake of the film El agente topo (2020)
Retired Charles gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s call and becomes the mole in a secret investigation of a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”.
These actors only get better with age, and they’re wonderfully cast in this sweet comedy series!
I’m 67 years old and it was so great to see so many of our generation’s actors and their great comedic styles. The story gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets deeper with the characters’ intrigue.
It’s not really a mystery
No worries, because you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is halfway through. You don’t care that it’s not a big mystery because you’re just having fun watching these old guys work and show off their skills.

Just a tribute to the courage it takes to be an older, still active citizen and feel visible in our youth-oriented society. What a wonderful tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefields of aging with this series.
